Job Summary/Basic Function
The Center for Community Engaged Learning (CCEL) Pathways Fellow plans and implements student-run programs and events that make an impact at WSU and with the community. They are trained on the pathways of public service and civic engagement, and are mentored through planning and executing meaningful community engagement experiences, and enhancing their personal development, leadership skills, and critical strategic thinking ability throughout their entire leadership term.

- Attend all weekly required team meetings, trainings and retreats
- Attend all required individual meetings
- Recruitment and outreach
Required Qualifications
- Current Weber State University student
- Eligible for on campus employment
- Maintain a 2.0 cumulative GPA or higher
- Enrolled in 12 credit hours
- All majors encouraged to apply
Preferred Qualifications
- Current Weber State University undergraduate student with 0-89 completed credit hours
- Enrolled in the Wildcat Advantage Program
- Experience in a leadership position is not necessary, but preferred.
- Experience with community engagement through a CEL-designated course or other types of community engagement are encouraged to apply.
Experience:
- Preference will be given to students with some leadership or program planning experience, but all students are encouraged to apply and will be considered.
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills (presenting/communicating information, actively listening, mediating, conflict management)
- Organizational and time management skills (Google calendar experience preferred)
- Team-oriented
- Autonomous and proactive
