What are the responsibilities and job description for the Weber County Poll Worker position at Weber State University?
Poll workers will be expected to work long shifts at polling centers (Weber County Fairgrounds and Weber Center) during early voting and on election day.
Pay: 16/hr PLUS a $450 stipend
Weber Center Voting:
Oct. 29 Tuesday 11:30-6:30
Oct. 30 Wednesday 11:30-6:30
Oct. 31 Thursday 11:30-6:30
Nov. 1 Friday 11:30-6:30 (full)
Fairgrounds Election Day November 5th 6:30am-9:30 pm (half shifts are available)
Responsibilities
Responsibilities vary depending on role. Crowd control, check-in station, supervising, giving directions, facilitating the use of ADA voter machines, are some of the things we need help with.
Qualifications
US resident, registered/eligible to vote in Weber County. (Must be a resident of Weber County.) 16 years or older, Weber State student, willing and able to maintain neutrality. Customer service experience is preferred.
