Job Description
JOB DUTIES / PURPOSE
Provide general and routine technical support to a broad range of installation, patching, configuration, and updates to Operating Systems and non-OS vendor application requiring the ability to research, analyses, and resolve problems effectively to meet established performance metrics for Windows platform. Maintain documented procedures for Windows Infrastructure. Collaborates and contributes with team members, software vendors, and other technical staff to develop, design, implement, and continuously improve systems. May require on-call availability and may require working during non-business hours and on weekends. Finally, should be flexible on work timing and to be available on call for remote engineers when required.
SYSTEMS SUPPORT TECHNICIAN
A person who understand the dynamics of IT and ready to adapt change. Self-starter and ready to learn. Should be able to Assists on-and-off site network users in a Call Centre or Business Centre through LAN, applications and hardware support. May be required to work at more than one site as need arises. Also, responsible for moves, additions and changes to software, hardware and network as they relate to office space reorganization, facilities relocation or facilities start-up.

Education / Knowledge :
Associates Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school or equivalent experience and / or training.
Certification in MCSA, MCSE, VMware, ITIL or similar certification(s) would be considered an asset.
Experience / Skill :
Administrator of Windows Server OS and all related technologies
- 5 years' experience.
- Data Center Maintenance and Implementations.
- Server Build and Configuration.. Knowledge of RAID.
- Knowledge of Windows OS, DHCP, DNS, WINS, Active Directory,
- Good Experience in Windows Patching, Antivirus Updates.
- Knowledge of WSUS. SCCM, Bigfix, PDQ or any patch deployment tool
- Good understanding in VA gapes and Closer
- Hands on with miscellaneous windows system admin duties.
- Experience Cabling and Networking.
- LAN / WAN Basic configuration and management experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills.
Mandatory Skills
Active directory : configured and maintained Active directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
Deploying Microsoft Windows Patches
