Position Summary

Remote Work Qualifications
- The primary function of this role is to prevent orders from processing that were placed fraudulently or with intent to defraud the business. This includes manually reviewing orders, staying current on fraud trends, analyzing data, and working with the team to ensure best practices are being followed and the necessary innovations and improvements are being made to keep-up with fraudsters.
- Analyzes incoming orders, credits, and accounts to ensure the validity of orders and customer requests
- Communicates empathetically and effectively with account holders to confirm authenticity of requests and cardholder information
- Makes and executes decisions regarding the validity of orders and item/delivery issues
- Works cooperatively with other Risk Specialists to recognize trends and update systems accordingly
- Collaborate with appropriate teams across the WebstaurantStore, leveraging the perspective and strengths of others while seeking to add value. Collaboration is necessary to keep relevant departments informed of the risk associated with different policies, as well as leveraging their insights to inform our risk-based decisions.
- Measures, tracks, and communicates data on fraudulent attempts, chargebacks, and/or attempts at policy misuse on a regular basis
- Evaluate current processes and suggest any appropriate improvements to increase efficiency, reduce loss, and enhance the customer experience
- A college degree with job relevant coursework is preferred, but not required
- Work is performed while sitting and/or standing for up to 8-10 hours each day
- Proficiency with MS Office required

- Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.
- Access to a home router and modem.
- A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
- A valid, physical address (apartment, suite, etc.). PO Boxes are not supported, as a physical address is required for you to receive your computer equipment.
- The desire and ability to work and communicate with other team members via chat, webcam, etc.
