Community Liaison Officer (CLO) is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans primarily for first time homebuyers in their respective markets through building and maintaining new or existing networks of business and community relationships that serve as a source of referrals. The CLO will develop and leverage these ties to educate prospects and clients on a variety of homeownership related topics, bank products and services. The CLO will interview customers to determine loan needs and advise them of appropriate products, programs, terms and pricing. The CLO will generate a complete, quality, well-documented loan file for submission following all policies, procedures and guidelines.
Dedicate 50% of time to the following community outreach activities in an assigned market area comprising all or a portion of one or more metropolitan statistical area(s) :
- Establish, foster, and maintain network of strong relationships with community-based, charitable, and non-profit organizations
- Conduct first -time homebuyer education classes as well as one-on-one coaching sessions to prepare and enable prospects and customers for loan program eligibility
- Conduct financial literacy workshops in conjunction with community-based, charitable and non-profit organizations
- Participate in non-profit community events and activities; educate prospects, clients, and members on available mortgage products and programs
- Recommend unique opportunities to Senior Management to offer Webster products and services within the communities served

The estimated salary range for this position is $26.00 to $30.00 USD hourly. Actual salary may vary up or down depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position is eligible for incentive compensation.
