Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist Administrator with accounts payable, payroll, HR
- Maintain procedures and policies
- Assist in processing sales tax returns, deposits and distributions
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings for team members.
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized records.
- Utilize QuickBooks for basic accounting tasks and financial record keeping.
- Type correspondence, documents, and other materials as needed.
- Communicate with taxpayers to resolve issues and assist in sales tax matters.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in accounting/business preferred.
- Proven experience as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong calendar management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in computer software including QuickBooks, Microsoft Office, Excel
- Excellent clerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks performed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with taxpayers and staff.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
