What is your impact?

As the RN Manager of Care Coordination you will be overseeing the Care Coordination clinical staff with day-to-day operations. This role will serve as point-person for a clinical area and the team of clinicians that report up through the Sr. Manager.

Key position details:

Availability to work Monday to Friday 8:00a - 5:00p Central Time

What Will You Be Doing:

  • Responsible for continued daily operations for clinical team, as directed by senior management
  • Work with Clinical Quality Assurance team to manage and monitor processes and outcomes of team efforts
  • Serve as a resource for operating procedures and assist staff with clinical documentation systems
  • Responsible for team day-to-day scheduling and coverage.

Qualifications:

  • 5 years related work experience.
  • 2 years direct supervisory/management experience
  • ASN, BSN, or MSN from accredited school of nursing
  • Registered Nurse State Licensure and Compact State Licensure Upon Hire
  • Certified Case Management Certification preferred
  • Knowledgeable in medical terminology, reasonable and necessary treatment plans, delivery quality health care services and cost containment practices.
  • Ability to solve problems on behalf of team members using resources at their disposal.
  • Proficiency in maintaining good rapport with other staff members, physicians, health care facilities, clients, and providers.
  • Knowledge of managed care in a self-funded employer population is preferred.
  • Ability to identify problems such as underutilization or overutilization of services

General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e. travel to attend meetings, events, conferences). Occasionally
