What are the responsibilities and job description for the Traveling Health and Wellness Designated Nurse Advocate (Doral, FL) position at WebTPA Employer Services, LLC?
What are the Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the education of members through health fairs, community outreach programs, and presentations to promote a healthy lifestyle
- Support health fairs, Personal Health Assessments (PHA) and educational activities for large, mid-size, and small groups, including health coaching as needed
- Develop and coordinate educational programs and activities based on aggregate data from PHA, claims, predictive modeling, and regional demographics
- Provide educational information at health fairs to educate members with at risk values and lifestyles based on personal health assessments and/or biometric screenings
- Provide telephonic/onsite health coaching to members with at risk values and lifestyles to assist them in modifying their lifestyle and reduce their risk for disease
- Provide telephonic outreach to members with critical values identified through the biometric screening process
- Provide member referrals to disease management vendor, case management, and/or local community resources
- Implement educational programs to support local presence and sales strategies for retention and attraction of new accounts
What is Required?
- 5 years' Clinical Nursing Experience
- Current Florida RN - Registered Nurse License and/or Compact State Licensure Current Florida
- Possess a Valid Driver's License, using the company vehicle or your own form of transportation
- Ability to regularly travel 60% of the time within the South Florida Region (Vero Beach through Key West), with occasional overnight stays, and occasional evening and weekend hours to attend health fairs, provide educational workshops or to present clinical reports to our customers; remainder of work time based out of Doral, FL office
- Successful hands of experience working with Microsoft Word and Power Point, especially in presentations
- Prior Health Promotion and Wellness Experience, including health coaching and developing and delivering educational programs
- Strong written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills
- Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Healthcare, Business, or equivalent related work experience
What is Preferred:
- Certification in Health Coaching such as through Well coaches, or the National Society of Health Coaches (NSHC)
- Advance certification as a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), Certified Diabetic Educator (CDE), or possess a Lifestyle certification
Knowledge of Case Management Systems, (i.e. logJIVA) - Experience working in the Healthcare Industry

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $68,100 - $85,100, within a full annualized Salary Range: $68,100 - $110,600
