About The Role & Team
The IT Support Specialist will provide Tier 1 support for end-users, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues with varying difficulty. Applicants should be comfortable interacting with both technical and non-technical users. The technician will need to collaborate with other engineers and technicians to appropriately resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
In This Role, You Will
- Assist with hardware, software, and network problems by offering technical support over the phone, via email, or in person.
- Diagnose and fix user issues with operating systems, programs, and network connectivity.
- Log and monitor support requests to ensure prompt resolution and follow-up.
- Assist with setting up and configuring new hardware and software for users, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Keep detailed records of support activities, including resolutions and user interactions, to enhance knowledge base and service delivery.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, antivirus scans, and backups as directed by senior staff.
- Work closely with the senior helpdesk technician and other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating patience and professionalism in all interactions.
The Skills You Bring
- Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 2 years’ experience in a technical support role. Previous experience in the financial sector is an additional asset.
- Basic knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS), common software applications (Office Suite, email clients), networking fundamentals, and the ability to troubleshoot issues with computers, printers, and IoT devices.
- Knowledge of firewall setup with any brand. Preferably: Cisco, Sonicwall, etc.
- Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a customer-focused attitude.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Proficiency with any MDM/Device Management platform.
- Strong troubleshooting and configuration skills for VPNs.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and configuring network devices such as Firewalls, switches, WAPs, and Routers.
- Firsthand experience in configuring and troubleshooting VoIP devices and services
- Prior experience with any ticketing system.
- Knowledge of Azure/Microsoft admin Suite.
- IT Certifications such as CompTIA A

At Webull, we are committed to fair, equitable, and transparent compensation. The base salary range for this position is $80,000–$95,000 per year yearly discretionary bonus benefits. The final offer will depend on several factors, including the successful candidate’s skills, depth of work experience, location, and relevant licenses/qualifications. Each offer is determined based on individual strengths and relevant business considerations.
This role is based at our Wall Street office in New York at 44 Wall Street, New York, NY 10005.
