At WEC Energy Group, we are seeking a skilled Hydro Maintenance Technician to join our team in Merrill, Wisconsin. As a Hydro Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous generation availability and regulatory compliance of hydro turbines, generators, buildings, and grounds, dams, and auxiliary equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.
- Operate hydro-electric facilities safely and efficiently.
- Maintain plant systems, equipment, and surrounding area in clean, safe, and efficient condition.
- Complete necessary documents.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 3 years industrial mechanical maintenance experience as a mechanic.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Valid CDL or ability to obtain one within 18 months.
