EMT-Basic

WeCare Medical Transportation Inc is expanding its services to include Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and we are seeking skilled and compassionate Emergency Medical Technicians - Basic (EMT-Bs) to join our team. Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide pre-hospital care
• Assess patients and provide basic life support (BLS) as needed
• Safely transport patients to medical facilities while ensuring their well-being
• Operate and maintain emergency vehicles and equipment
• Accurately document patient care reports and maintain compliance with regulations
• Work collaboratively with other first responders and healthcare professionals
• Operate an evacuation chair safely and effectively to assist patients in multi-level buildings
• Maintain a positive attitude and bring good vibes to every shift, helping to create a supportive and uplifting environment for patients and team members
• Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, compassion, and patient advocacy

Requirements:

• Current EMT-B certification (state and/or national)
• Valid CPR/BLS certification
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients and equipment
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
• Prior EMS experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 36 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
