We are looking for a Multimedia and Strategic Communications Specialist to guide our efforts in crafting high-level communication strategies, working directly with the executive team, and driving engagement through innovative multimedia campaigns.
As the Multimedia and Strategic Communications Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping WECC's public image and internal messaging. You will develop and oversee comprehensive multimedia strategies that amplify WECC's mission and business objectives. With your strong background in design and communications, coupled with experience working alongside executive teams, you will lead cross-functional efforts to ensure that WECC's critical work is communicated effectively to employees, stakeholders, and the public.
You will-
- Collaborate closely with the executive team to define and implement strategic communication initiatives that align with WECC's long-term goals.
- Lead the development of high-impact multimedia campaigns, including video production, digital content, and web-based presentations that inspire and engage target audiences.
- Oversee the execution and evolution of WECC's social media presence, identifying new strategies to enhance outreach, while analyzing and reporting on campaign effectiveness.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing guidance on messaging and communication strategies for critical initiatives, Board presentations, and executive-level presentations.
- Oversee the creation of promotional and internal materials, ensuring alignment with brand identity and organizational goals.
- Provide editorial oversight on major communications, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in design, brand and messaging for both internal and external audiences.
- Drive the use of multimedia tools, including photography and video, to visually communicate WECC's achievements and ongoing projects in a compelling way.
- Work in concert with our team of communication professionals, fostering growth and innovation within the department.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $71,255-$89,069 discretionary pay benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and mid-point for the position across all locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
