We are excited to announce a new opportunity for a Project Director - Nuclear Industry to join our team at WECTEC LLC. This role is a critical part of our Design Engineering organization, responsible for managing site projects from initiation to closeout phases.
The successful candidate will have 6 years of project management experience in the nuclear industry, with a strong background in relevant technologies and leadership skills. They will also possess excellent team building abilities, demonstrated skill in effectively leading teams, and the ability to develop and manage project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
About the Role:
- Lead site projects from initiation to closeout phases.
- Demonstrate expertise in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership in assigned project areas.
- Develop and manage project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
- Coordinate the resolution of technical problems and implement changes.
What We're Looking For:
- 6 years of project management experience in the nuclear industry.
- 4-year degree preferred, but not mandatory.
- Major projects experience ($100M ).
- Strong P6/scheduling skills.
- Demonstrated experience with electrical, I&C disciplines focused projects.
- Demonstrated experience with online and outage processes to schedule projects.
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
