Opportunity Overview: Finance Operations Support Specialist – 18 Month Contract/Contract to Hire - Remote
WECTEC Staffing/Westinghouse is looking for a Finance Operations Support Specialist to manage and support invoicing for 1-2 large Westinghouse customers. This is an 18 month contract with potential to move into a permanent position.
What your day-to-day looks like:
- Validate invoicing data between timekeeping systems, time sheets, and financial systems to ensure accuracy
- Review system-generated invoices and prepare custom invoicing templates if applicable
- Support financial and operational analyses/reporting by customer (status, metrics, profitability, invoicing/payment trends)
- Investigate and resolve customer requests and invoice rejections
- Participate in discussions with Account Managers for responsible accounts
- Support customer rebate calculation and yearend rebate accruals
- Support customer rebate and bonus accruals, and develop calculations for year-end rebates and employee bonuses
- Perform basic employee rate changes or employee setup changes in the financial system; able to set up projects if necessary
What we need to see from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or accounting is preferred
- In lieu of degree, 5 years’ experience in a similar field is required
- Strong computer skills required and knowledge of SAP is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers and account managers
