We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced FCM Accounting Manager to join our team in Chicago. This role is responsible for overseeing financial and regulatory reporting, audit processes, and team management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, accounting, and regulatory reporting, with experience in the Futures Commission Merchant (FCM) industry as a significant plus.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- Provide financial reporting by leading and actively participating in the month-end close process, coordinating with the headquarters in Los Angeles
- Conduct and review month-over-month flux analyses to identify trends and anomalies
- Approve and ensure the accuracy of account reconciliations
- Oversee the regulatory accountant responsible for the daily segregation / secured computations, capital requirement calculations, and month-end FOCUS reporting population
- Act as the primary point of contact for the following audits : CME (primary regulator), Ernst & Young (annual audit), and internal audits as needed
- Manage and mentor a team of 2-3 professionals, fostering their growth and development
- Collaborate with various departments across the Chicago office to ensure alignment on financial matters
- Provide support for FX financial reporting and corporate accounting functions
- Fulfill ad hoc requests as needed

A reasonable estimate of the current hiring range is $122,000 - $162,000.
