Job Title: Part-Time Event Coordinator

Location: New Mexico (Hybrid work options available, some travel required)
Job Type: Part-Time (12-16 hours a week)
Hourly Rate: $17–$20/hr, depending on experience (DOE)

As we continue to grow, we're looking for an enthusiastic, organized Event Coordinator to join our team and help us execute exceptional events for our members.

Job Overview:
As our Event Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in planning and executing a variety of events, from trade shows to boutique bridal shows and private gatherings. You'll collaborate with clients and vendors, ensuring every event runs smoothly and successfully. This is a flexible part-time position, with an opportunity to earn additional sales commissions based on client referrals and event success. Perfect for someone seeking a flexible schedule while making an impact in the events and advertising industry! Some travel may be required to events across the state or out of state with the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help organize and coordinate events, including trade shows, events, corporate gatherings, and other special events.
  • Manage event timelines, logistics, vendors, and budgets.
  • Provide on-site coordination to ensure smooth execution of each event.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and partners.
  • Identify and explore new sales opportunities, referring clients to our advertising services.
  • Assist with advertising initiatives for clients, including print and online ads, as part of event planning.
  • Support the sales team by driving revenue through referrals and event-based opportunities.
  • Ensure clients receive exceptional customer service throughout the entire event process.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in event planning or coordination.
  • Ability to self-manage projects and coordinate with other employees for tasks.
  • Experience with trade shows, weddings, or fine dining events is a plus.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
  • Self-starter with a positive, flexible attitude and strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) and Google Suite.
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus college OR work experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Experience with event management software or CRM software like Eventbrite or Monday.com.
  • Interest in sales and willingness to contribute to business growth through referrals and networking.
  • Passion for weddings, fashion, or decor.
