Position Overview:

As a Team Lead and Key Holder you will play a crucial role in the store’s day-to-day operations, ensuring the smooth running of the business and a positive, guest-focused environment. You will lead by example, providing guidance to team members, especially new hires, and training them to provide exceptional guest service. As a Key Holder, you will be trusted with opening and closing the store, overseeing operational tasks, and ensuring the store is ready to deliver an outstanding shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership & Training:Lead by example, ensuring the team delivers outstanding guest service while supporting new hires through training, coaching, and feedback. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
  • Guest Service Excellence:Drive a guest-first culture by ensuring the team provides exceptional service. Handle any guest concerns or issues quickly and professionally, ensuring a memorable experience
  • Staff Development:Support the onboarding and ongoing training of new team members. Conduct training sessions and provide continuous learning opportunities to enhance team skills and performance
  • Store Operations & Key Holding:Responsible for opening and closing the store, ensuring operational tasks such as inventory management, cash register operations, and visual merchandising are completed efficiently
  • Sales & Operational Support:Assist in achieving sales targets and operational goals. Provide feedback to management on team performance and operational opportunities for improvement
  • Inventory & Merchandising:Oversee stock organization, product displays, and ensure the store remains clean and welcoming
  • Conflict Resolution & Problem-Solving:Quickly resolve any guest service issues and support the team in managing any challenging situations, empowering them to solve problems effectively
  • Safety & Compliance:Lead by example in adhering to safety protocols and company standards, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members and customers

Qualifications:

  • Leadership Experience:Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment with a focus on team leadership, training, and guest service
  • Guest Service Skills:A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and fostering a guest-obsessed culture
  • Retail Operations Knowledge:Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory control, sales targets, and the ability to execute business strategies effectively
  • Problem-Solving Abilities:Ability to remain calm and handle challenging guest service situations with professionalism and quick thinking
  • Communication Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships with both customers and team members
  • Multitasking & Time Management:Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail environment while staying organized and meeting deadlines
  • Ethical & Compliant:A commitment to maintaining high standards of ethics and compliance within the store

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous retail, customer service, or bridal experience preferred but not required; training will be provided
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to build meaningful connections with customers from diverse backgrounds
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Google Docs, PowerPoint, and email)
