What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Commercial Analytics position at Wedgewood Pharmacy?
The Director of Commercial Analytics will lead a team of analysts responsible for advancing business intelligence, analytics, business modeling, & strategy across our commercial organization, including Marketing, E-Commerce, Pricing, and Sales. Responsible for leading the execution of complex and detailed analyses using internal & external data to provide insight to decision-makers and transforming that work into reports, dashboards, strategic / tactical plans, and forecasts based on business data and market knowledge. You will provide leadership to support external customer and vendor strategic meetings .
What you’ll do :
- Lead cross-functional projects using advanced data modeling and analysis techniques – with a specific focus on revenue-driving activities (Sales & Marketing), targeting & segmentation, sales pipeline optimization, operational excellence, and pricing & promotions strategy.
- Provide proactive analysis of initiatives and tests underway to accelerate revenue generation through commercial levers.
- Present recommendations at multiple levels of stakeholders through effective displays of quantitative information.
- Lead KPI development, benchmarking, and goal setting in partnership with leadership in Marketing, Finance, Sales and Strategic Partnerships. Lead the analysis on these KPIs & underlying business trends to understand progress towards company goals.
- Provide expertise on the development, and ongoing management of commercial reporting and functional dashboards.
- Partner with Analytics Engineering and data owners to identify, analyze and create ingestion requirements for data assets across the business.
- Envision, develop, and deploy new solutions and technologies to continue to advance Wedgewood’s position as an industry leader in Animal Health technologies.
- Coach and mentor several direct reports and share best practices / expertise with analysts across the company.
