What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Internship (Helpdesk)- Fall 2024 position at Wedgwood Christian Services?
The IT Internship provides a wide range of both hands on and technical opportunities to grow knowledge and experience. This intern works with our Helpdesk Technician to learn user behavior, basic triage, and troubleshooting skills. Additionally, this position works closely with Wedgwood’s IS Systems Specialist to understand basic configurations and good cyber security practice.
- Please note that our internships are unpaid.
- Triage incoming Helpdesk Tickets
- Create Training Materials to Educate End Users on Technical Tasks
- Provision, Deploy, and Decommission Endpoints and Track Asset Management
- Meet regularly with IT Director concerning tasks performed, jobs to be completed, and to discuss items of need or concern.
- Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- High School diploma required.
- Currently enrolled in a Information Technology or Computer Science program.
- Good organization and communication skills and a willingness to learn and grow professionally.
- Subscription to the Statement of Faith of Wedgwood Christian Services and agreement with the goal, purpose and objectives of the agency.
