Part-time Child Care Worker -- Could Be Full-time

Requirements

We are looking for someone working on a degree or certificate in a school or program for ECE or Education in general, but we are really looking for those who are truly interested in educating and caring for young children.

We are looking for a Child Care Staff Member to encourage the healthy intellectual and psychological growth of the children in our facility. You will supervise them while also motivating them to use their mental capacities and exercise their imagination. This will vary depending on the class you are in, but this position will focus mainly on Infants.

We are looking for a Full-Time employee who can work M-F afternoon shifts, so please include your availability when applying. This teacher would be expected to be able to work well with children from age 6 weeks to 4 years old. On occasion, you will be with a different age group child as we do serve children all the way up to 12 years old.

THIS WILL TURN TO FULL TIME if it is working out well.

Responsibilities

Supervise and engage with children

Help to follow a full schedule of activities

Provide basic care and caregiving activities

Use a wide range of teaching methods (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc) to engage with the children

Collaborate with other colleagues

Skills

Methodical and creative

Patience, flexibility and love for children

Strong communication and time management skills

Certificate in first aid and CPR, including pediatric(Within 90 days)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour, depending on education level attained and experience.

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
