Position Overview:

This role will be responsible for managing and optimizing operational performance, ensuring top-tier customer service, and achieving revenue and profitability goals. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a background in lawn care or related industries, and a passion for driving business success while maintaining high-quality service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Leadership & Management
  • Prepare upwardly mobile staff members to fill future employment opportunities
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of technicians, customer service representatives, and administrative staff.
  • Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to ensure a high standard of work and customer service.
  • Foster a positive, supportive work culture that emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and one-on-one check-ins to maintain open communication and address challenges.
• Operations Mangaement:
  • Oversee daily branch operations, including scheduling, service delivery, inventory management, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor service quality, ensuring all work is completed on time and in line with company standards.
• Manage branch resources efficiently to optimize operational productivity and meet customer demands.
• Customer Service & Relations:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for escalated customer issues and concerns.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, offering lawn care solutions and establishing trust relationships.
  • Monitor and evaluate customer feedback to improve service quality and customer retention.
• Sales & Business Development:
  • Identify opportunities for service upsells and new business within the local market.
  • Work with the sales team to drive new customer acquisition and expand the client base.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and contribute to branch revenue growth.
• Financial Management:
  • Oversee the branch’s budget, including managing expenses, controlling costs, and maximizing profitability.
  • Track financial performance and prepare regular reports for the Regional Manager.
  • Ensure accurate invoicing and billing, working with accounting to resolve any discrepancies.
• Safety & Compliance:
  • Ensure all operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations, including safety and environmental standards.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure a safe work environment for staff and customers.
  • Conduct regular safety training and inspections.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Horticulture, Management or a related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role, with at least 3 years in the service industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on relationship-building and client satisfaction.
• Ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and inventory.
• Solid understanding of lawn care services, equipment, and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
