About the Role - The Turf Technician/General Labor role involves performing fertilizer, weed control, and insect applications for residential customers. The position also includes quoting potential customers for lawn care services and utilizing an environmentally responsible integrated pest management approach. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards of service that Weed Man Lawn Care is known for.
Position Details:
Summer & Fall- Perform lawn care services for our customers (Fertilizer, Weed control, Pest management, Aerations, etc.)
- Quote potential customers in the field for lawn care services
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by our coverage provider
- Willingness to obtain a Pesticide Applicator License. We assist you in this process.
- Responsible for generating leads by offering free, no-obligation lawn quotes
- Generating Leads for Sales Team - no selling involved.
- Must have strong written and oral communication skills
Qualifications
- No prior experience required; on-the-job paid initial training provided.
- Willingness to obtain an Applicator License, with company assistance.
- Valid driver’s license and insurability by the company's coverage provider.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
