Human Resource Coordinator

Weekley Electric, LLC is currently seeking a Human Resource Coordinator to join our growing team. Your specific duties in this role will include:
Summary/Objective
The Human Resource Coordinator will handle a variety of personnel-related administrative duties and act as the liaison between the Management and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of all inquiries. The Human Resource Coordinator will support daily HR activities and will be able to ensure the HR department is organized and operates to support both managers and employees. The Human Resource Coordinator will work autonomously and assist with duties such as onboarding, maintaining employee files, and processing terminations.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with and report to the Management regarding HR initiatives.
- Support HR department in educating employees on and enforcing company policies.
- Assist in the full hiring process of employees, including recruitment, interviews, and tracking of new possible candidates.
- Help with new-hire procedures including organizing employee orientation, administering company policies and handbook, ensuring all necessary pre-employment paperwork is properly completed.
- Organize, maintain, and update employee information as needed.
- Foster positive employee relations and work to solve any employee issues that surface.
- Abide by company enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations.
- Assist in the random drug screening processes.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience /Qualification
- One to three years of experience in the Human Resource field.
- PC literacy (MS Office).
- Familiarity with various software and payroll systems.
- Basic knowledge of Labor Laws.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource or related field preferred.
