Real estate law firm in Charleston, South Carolina seeking a Probate attorney to join a well-established team. Candidate should be a member in good standing of the SC Bar, preferably have experience in probate administration.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist clients with Probate administration
  • Identify Probate issues in real estate transactions
  • Conducting effective legal research, analyzing date and providing legal solutions
  • Assist clients with developing Estate Planning documents
  • Draft and / or review Estate Planning documents including Wills and Powers of Attorney
  • Deliver a professional and engaging experience to clients and address any lingering questions or concerns they may have
  • Develop, cultivate and grow business relationships for the firm
  • Conduct training for potential clients in relevant areas of probate and estate planning

REQUIREMENTS

  • Probate experience preferred
  • Estate Planning and Real Estate experience will be considered
  • Member of the South Carolina State Bar (in good standing), knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure
  • Excellent and prompt verbal / written communication skills and ability to work well with others
  • Self-starter, capable of community involvement, and achieving results
  • Strong work ethic demonstrated in academics and work history
