What are the responsibilities and job description for the Fulfillment Operations Intern position at Weezie?
The Fulfillment Operations Internship is a unique opportunity to learn about all of the moving parts - people, systems, and processes - that work in concert to support the fulfillment of customer orders with efficiency, quality, and a “wow” factor. You will gain exposure to a wide range of operational processes and tools, and flex your analytical muscles by tackling a strategic project that will enhance our in-house fulfillment operations. This role is based in our growing distribution center in Austell, just outside Atlanta.

What you'll do:
- In this role, you’ll work directly with the Fulfillment Operations Manager and key members of the fulfillment team to help roll out productivity tracking capability for key areas of the fulfillment operation.
- You’ll spend time training and learning about two core functions of our fulfillment process: picking orders and measuring items for customization.
- You’ll help identify all hardware and supplies needed to support real-time productivity tracking for these departments.
- You’ll collaborate with Operations Managers to complete any setup required to fully leverage our current customization software.
- You’ll work with other members of the operations team and external partners to validate and integrate new data to existing reporting dashboards.
- You’ll partner with the Operations Managers to solve for exceptions resolution processes and to define best practices for maintaining data accuracy.
- You’ll present your findings to the operations leadership team at the end of the summer.
What you can expect:
- Schedule: This is a 9-10 week internship starting on June 3 running through July 31 or August 7th. You will work approximately 20 hours per week from our Austell-based fulfillment center Monday – Thursday, 9:30am-2:30pm
- Compensation: Interns receive $300 per week, paid bi-weekly.
