What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Wehbe Marketing?
Wehbe Marketing, a local, innovative marketing firm that provides comprehensive marketing for small businesses, non-profits, and podcasts in our Gainesville community, is looking for a highly organized, versatile Marketing Assistant that is self-motivated, creative, eager to learn, and able to multi-task and manage several projects simultaneously. To be considered for this position applicants must prove that they possess:
- Effective, persuasive writing skills.
- Proficient in digital marketing platforms and channels, including analytics, social media, email marketing, and website marketing.
- Able to work in the office in Gainesville, FL from 9am to 6pm.
- Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for delivering their assigned tasks within set deadlines and ensuring that all published data is maintained properly and up to date at all times.
- Competent in Adobe Suite and capable of using various software applications is considered a plus.
Essential Functions:
- Content Creation: Draft, edit, and produce content for a variety of channels including websites, social media, ads, banners and signs, press releases, brochures, proposals, blogs, podcasts, articles, and any other platforms as necessary. (Local travel to project sites to photograph/video possible.)
- Project Management: produce and manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously and in a timely manner.
- Analytics: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, providing recommendations for improvements. Utilize tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and email marketing software.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure brand consistency in all initiatives and communications. Update and maintain a consistent look and feel throughout all marketing and communication channels.
- Business/Client Development: Collaborate with clients to execute comprehensive marketing strategies, utilizing traditional, non-traditional, and digital platforms to achieve business goals.
- Activation: Ability to prepare for and run successful activations for clients at local events, including nights and weekends.
- Provide administrative support to Wehbe Marketing President, including:
- managing their calendar
- scheduling meetings
- handling correspondence
- generally assisting with day-to-day tasks, aiming to optimize their time and productivity
- maintaining excellent communication
- ability to maintain confidentiality
Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, Communications, or related field preferred.
- Three to five years of experience.
- Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude are a must.
- Non-traditional hours may be required, including some evenings and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
