Environmental Services DirectorDirects the Environmental Services Department and oversees the maintenance and repair of the equipment, operating systems, structure, and grounds of the residence. Responsible for coordinating with outside vendors for parts ordering and contractors for specialized repairs and maintenance. Supervises all maintenance, housekeeping and laundry personnel assigned to the community.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Reviews all work orders, implemented through TELS and established priorities for work to be performed in conjunction with the Executive Director
Ensure work tickets are completed timely for billing and payroll purposes.
Troubleshoots and coordinates all required maintenance and repairs for building, grounds, and equipment.
Creates work tickets to communicate to vendor(s) an appropriate purchase orders when job-related parts or supplies are needed.
Coordinates preventative maintenance based on specific residence schedule as procured through TELS
Ensures regular checks of all required building and safety systems.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
This position operates in various environments throughout the residence. Regular exposure the heat, cold, various weather conditions, sharp objects, electric tools, sharp objects, and various chemicals will occur.
Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served.
Individuals are required to perform standing, walking, squatting, climbing, bending, stooping and lifting to 50lbs during the shift.
The position may require the individual to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements.
Individuals may be exposed to materials that commonly cause allergic reactions such as paint, fiberglass, dust, grass, and pollen.
Individuals are required to dress in assigned uniform and maintain a professional appearance during the shift.
EXPERIENCE:
Prefer prior experience in AL, IL, or SNU
Requires two years prior experience in a related trade or position.
Prefer prior experience supervising personnel and a position with responsibility for overall building maintenance.
Requires ability to read, speak, and write English clearly.
