Weimer Industries is a growing company seeking an organized, task-oriented individual to perform accounting duties in a full-time capacity at our Germantown headquarters. Our company supplies critical components to our major manufacturing and maintenance companies in a variety of industries. Due to expected growth, we are seeking a full-time, professional, hard-working Credit Specialist to join our growing team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for a group of customer accounts for credits and collections
- Call customers regarding outstanding invoices and payment status
- Process and analyze customer credit applications
- Analyze and assess credit worthiness of customer accounts
- Review and recommend customer credit terms and limits
- Review and validate customer credit violations
- Provide customer references to suppliers as requested
- Identify delinquent accounts requiring external collection efforts
- Application of customer payments
- Process customer returns and customer credits
- Set up potential customer accounts
- Maintain customer maintenance and account updates
- Maintain customer sales tax records and exemptions
- Daily invoicing
- Generate monthly customer statements
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties to support the Accounting Department.
Qualifications/Requirements:
1-2 years of credit/collections experience preferred. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and must possess good communication, organization and phone skills. We will train the right candidate!
