Purpose of Role: The SHE (Safety, Health, Environment) Environmental Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day SHE activities at our dynamic manufacturing facility, with specific focus on Environmental issues. They will work closely with champions, team leaders, and operators in activities supporting the continued development of our SHE controls and Zero Harm culture.

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement SHE Standards/Regulations: Ensure full implementation of internal protocols and procedures across the site to fully respect Weir Group’s SHE Charter. This includes adherence to all safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Environmental Support: Provide comprehensive support for all environmental aspects of the site, including documentation, monitoring, measurement, and reporting to authorities. This ensures compliance with environmental regulations and standards including Title V
- Legislation and Compliance: Track and support SHE legislation compliance, assisting in the implementation of related controls and corrective actions. Regularly perform planned and unplanned SHE inspections to maintain high standards.
- Training and Reporting: Support SHE training programs and maintain accurate training records using ESCO’s SHIELD system. Track and report SHE activities and metrics to ensure continuous improvement and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- 5 years of overall industrial occupational health, safety, and environment experience
- 2 years in a manufacturing industry
