Purpose of Role: As a Planning Enablement Manager, you will support the Director – Divisional Planning and SIOP in creating and executing the planning strategy across the Division, focusing on business engagement, change management, process consolidation, and learning initiatives. You will lead the SIOP and planning process consolidation across the Division, implement change management strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy standardized policy and drive divisional and site improvements from those policies that deliver improved planning and execution performance. Additionally, you will work with procurement and manufacturing teams to reduce lead times and improve on-time delivery, while monitoring and reporting on SIOP KPIs to ensure effective planning and inventory management. This role requires a transformational leader with strong soft skills to support the adoption of new processes and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SIOP Implementation: Prepare content, presentations, activities, and logistics for SIOP implementation, driving new tools, processes, and materials for stakeholder engagement within the Division, facilitating monthly SIOP meetings with Regional SIOP Managers to follow up on demand consensus, inventory metrics, supply constraints, and executive outcomes, consolidating SIOP outcomes across regions to support Divisional strategic decisions, and overseeing SIOP Reports (Inventory Turns, Customer OTD, Capacity Utilization) and MRP Health Scorecard progression, working closely with sites on root cause analysis.
  • Inventory Optimization: Use resources such as Celonis and Kinaxis to identify potentially inflated or reorder point and safety stock levels. Then work with the business to understand these inventory settings. Share valid feedback with the SIOP product team for future scope, and educate the business as applicable when these levels can be reduced.
  • Best Practices Promotion and Global Planning CoE: Lead the Global Center of Excellence to identify, prioritize, and deploy planning and execution policies, drive continuous improvements in planning, including new processes and tools for Supply Chain excellence, identify gaps in planning processes and cover them with technical resources, promote best practices globally through the center of excellence, articles, and demos, engage with planning users globally to support their activities and align processes with SIOP initiatives, and translate business needs into divisional user stories.
  • Training and Development: Drive best practices and standard operating procedures, work with the SIOP AGILE Product team to create educational courses, prepare and review course content with the learning and development team, manage courses as part of the Planning Learning Path (PLP) and keep the Planning SharePoint updated, and assign new PLP courses to SIOP Stakeholders quarterly.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:
  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management or business process enablement, with a focus on change management and process improvement. Demonstrated SIOP implementation is desired.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders up, down and across. Natural project management skills.
  • Experienced and comfortable in working in a ‘matrix style’ operational environment across multiple cultures and regions. Must have strong influence skills, and proven ability to deal and motivate a multicultural and cross functional team, promoting open and a cross-cultural communication.
