Key Responsibilities:
- Leading and executing the deployment of Weir Group SHE Strategy across the organization, ensuring active participation by all Senior Leaders and stakeholders
- Lead and embed a multi-strand strategic culture change, Zero Harm Behavior Framework with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization (executive to shop floor)
- Experience interacting and influencing across a wide range of internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Provide risk-based strategic and tactical support to the Senior Leadership Team, General Managers, Regional SHE Managers, Site Managers, Site SHE managers, and employees.
- Report on KPI's related to SHE and ensuring that trends are identified and acted upon, while celebrating successes and addressing areas that need improvement.
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Balanced exposure to all areas of EHS in a multi-national organization.
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university. Master’s degree, a plus.
- 10 years of progressive EHS leadership experience in a mining or heavy industrial manufacturing environment is a requirement
- Must have demonstrated ability to share and engage others in vision of the business. Strong analytical skills and the ability to create short, mid, and long-term strategies are needed
- Willingness to travel 25-30% (Domestic and International)
