The Meat Department Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our grocery store. This position is responsible for receiving and unloading incoming shipments, pricing products, and stocking cases to ensure quality, protection, accuracy, and proper rotation of product in the cases and cooler. Additionally, this role involves maintaining a safe and clean working environment, greeting and taking orders from customers, cutting, trays, and packaging required meat and seafood products, and participating in pre-inventory preparation. To be successful in this role, the associate must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two years of experience in a retail environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
