We are recruiting for a Per-Diem (Benefit Ineligible) Outpatient Receptionist to join our team. This position will cover multiple location as needed.

POSITION SUMMARY:
- Responsible for answering telephone calls and transferring to appropriate destinations.
- Responsible for greeting patients
- Responsible for collecting required documentation, copays, deductibles, or payment of services prior to treatment.
- Responsible for performing daily insurance verifications as needed.
- Responsible for monitoring entrances and exits of visitors, patients and families.
- Handle various clerical functions as assigned by Manager and/or Director. Will be trained by the Manager pertaining to HBC procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of facility policies and procedures as it relates to the above duties.
- Must be flexible with availability and be willing to travel as needed between sites
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED
- Two years of experience in clerical/healthcare environment
- Experience with insurance verification processes
- Computer literate in Excel, MS Word, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and patient’s families
- Ability to function independently or under supervision as task requires
