About This Position
We are seeking highly motivated Business Development Representatives (BDR) interested in kick starting their career in sales. BDR's are the first point of contact for the sales team, an imperative first impression. Your PRIMARY task will be reaching out to new customers to spark interest in our material handling products and solutions. You will also be calling on accounts we believe are interested in our products and services introduced from warm leads.

- Compensation Range: $50k - $100k Base salary, bonus pay, and commissions based on performance.
The Job and Key Requirements:
- Execute the Welch Lead & Opportunity Management CRM processes for building a sales pipeline.
- Cold Calling to generate new customer leads
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools
- Possess a working understanding of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and other key sales technologies used for Business Development and Opportunity/Lead creation.
- Collaborate with Marketing & Sales teams to execute campaigns that ensure lead quality and quantity.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales operations on reporting and close rate analysis.
- Ensure CRM tools and Welch Equipment value-selling methodologies are leveraged to process and track lead generated opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Knowledge of ‘Material Handling' industry is a plus
- Fast-paced and Highly Driven, Self-Motivated, Customer focused individual
- Aptitude to think outside the box and create customer solutions on the spot
- Proven track record of achieving goals and/or quotas, or other similar objectives.
- Ability to be a team player and perform in a fast-paced, outside sales-oriented environment
- Confidence to prospect by ‘Cold Calling' and develop new sales leads
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Comfort with sales technology and CRM tools
