We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join our Maintenance department at our Welch's Lawton, MI Plant. The Maintenance Electrician will perform electrical maintenance for all automation / controls, plant production, and processing equipment. You will contribute to and impact the total efficiency and productivity of our facility.
Job Responsibilities :
Installation, testing, repair and maintenance of electrical, instrumentation and control equipment in a food processing plantPerform PLC programming and troubleshooting of equipmentSupport projects and other duties as assigned in support of plant maintenance and productivityAdditional duties and responsibilities as assigned, to include but not limited to trouble-shooting, maintenance, and repair as needed on food processing and non-electrical equipmentElectrical
Read and interpret electrical wiring diagrams (both construction and schematic)Install conduit, wiring, control panels, control wiring and control centersInstall, repair, and service automatic control devices such as sensors, photo-electric equipment, proximity switches, etc.Effectively troubleshoot and repair complex circuitryPerform all phases of preventative maintenance on electrical equipment and controlsElectronic
Read and interpret electronic schematicsTroubleshoot and repair electronic circuitryInstall, troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment such as ground fault systems and recorders / controllersProgram, troubleshoot and repair Programmable Logic Controllers; Understand PLC ladder logicWho Are You :

High School diploma or GED equivalent required2 years of experience required in a manufacturing facility as a repair and maintenance technician, mechanic, electrician, or PLC / Controls Technician.
