Description of the Role
An accounting clerk is needed for this full-time, on-site position in Sun City Center, Florida. Daily accounting duties, such as bookkeeping, financial statement management, using accounting software, and other finance-related duties, will fall within the purview of the accounting clerk. A detail-oriented person with the ability to effectively manage a variety of accounting tasks is needed for the role.
Experience
- Proficiency in Accounting Software
- Experience with Bookkeeping and general Accounting tasks
- Ability to manage and interpret Financial Statements
- Solid understanding of Finance principles
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent math and analytical skills
- Prior experience in a similar accounting role is preferred
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Payroll responsibilities, including entering, job costing, journal entries, preparing and maintaining monthly payroll books
- Applying Accounts Receivable checks
- Applying Accounts Payable invoices
- Assist with regular bank reconciliations
- Printing and distributing Accounts Payable invoices as they are sent by e-mail daily
