About the Role
Are you an innovative and creative student who enjoys teaching and helping people grow? Are you an aspiring OD, MD, PhD or PharmD who is a great presenter, proficient with technology, and curious about what it takes to be a part of a Medical Affairs team in the eye care pharmaceutical industry? If so, consider our Tarsus Medical Affairs team for your summer internship! You’ll have an opportunity to work alongside our Director of Medical Affairs Training to build physician tools, internal training programs, and facilitate training sessions for our field Medical Affairs team.
Let’s talk about some of the key responsibilities of the role:
- Generate multimedia field medical training materials
- Develop customer facing tools based on posters and presentations for internal education and customer facing use
- Facilitate medical legal regulatory review of customer facing tools
- Analyse various metrics – such as medical engagement surveys, educational impact data, field observations, and physician insights to shape medical engagement and strategy
- Create medical and scientific podcasts and instructional videos
- Identify gaps in HCP education and clinical evidence; propose ideas on how to address unmet educational and evidence needs
- Stay current on Demodex blepharitis scientific literature and market, and keep tabs on KOL engagement and opportunities for disease state education and awareness
Factors for Success:
- OD / MD Candidate or PharmD / PhD Candidate within two years of graduation
- Efficient self-starter, with the ability to work independently on tasks
- Possesses a passion for educating, with exceptional presentation experience, and ability to communicate effectively
- Organized individual with project management skills
- Expertise with PowerPoint, video production, and graphic design (Canva preferred)

The expected hourly pay for this position is $44/hour for a graduate student.
