Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. This role is essential in assisting teachers with instructional activities, managing classroom behavior, and ensuring the well-being of students.
Duties
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Supervise and engage with children during classroom activities and playtime.
- Support individual students with their learning needs, providing additional guidance as necessary.
- Help maintain a safe and organized classroom environment.
- Monitor student behavior and implement behavior management strategies as needed.
- Communicate effectively with teachers regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Assist in preparing classroom materials and resources for lessons.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development.
Skills
- Experience in daycare, preschool, or similar childcare settings is preferred.
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and childhood development.
- Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while promoting a positive learning atmosphere.
- Experience working directly with children or students in an educational context.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with students, teachers, and parents.
- Patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude towards children.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
