Who You Are
The Business Development Representative, known as the "Sales Pro," will oversee the identification, cultivation, and upkeep of business connections focused on consumable products such as filler metals, abrasives, welding accessories, and welding PPE. This will involve proactive prospecting in person, via email, social media outreach, and participation in targeted marketing campaigns aimed at manufacturing facilities serving end users.
What You'll Do
Responsibilities:
- Exhibit and live by our Core Values. Dependable, Responsive, Accountable.
- Work directly with manager to develop sales plan including goal setting.
- Develop and drive a strategic sales route with consistent customer visits
- Daily use of CRM to track calls, appointments, and opportunities.
- Regular outside sales calls on existing customers to maintain customer stock on consumable items, cross sell existing product lines, and develop new lines when applicable.
- Expand relationships inside existing accounts to welders, shop foreman, purchasing agents, and owner operators.
- Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings, monthly one on ones, quarterly blue-sky meetings, and end of year performance reviews to evaluate scorecard items in relation to set goals and professional growth.
- Participate in company onboarding process including product and systems training.
- Upon documented success, receive and utilize company Sprinter Van with stocking capabilities to expand our competitive advantage. Service!
What You Bring
- 2 years of Outside Sales experience required
- College degree preferred, but not required
- Knowledge in welding and fabrication industry is a plus
