Job Summary: The Customer Service Representative is expected to provide outstanding customer service, exceed customer expectations, maintain and enhance existing business. Strive to service the customer by taking personal responsibility for every order to ensure the customer’s requirements are met from the time of initial order until the product is invoiced and delivered including all aspects such as product specifications, logistics/delivery, special orders, coordination with other departments, etc.
Essential Functions:
Duties may include, but are not restricted to, one or more of the following:
- Proactively assist customers in a professional, friendly manner in order to create the best possible experience by building relationships through various forms of communication, including but not limited to, telephone, email, and conference calls
- Processing of orders and maintenance of internal customer records
- Work closely with sales, manufacturing and shipping personnel to meet customers’ requirements
- Provide customers with accurate product pricing and delivery information
- Monitor scheduled shipment dates to ensure timely delivery and expedite as needed.
- Keep a positive attitude in the face of criticism and maintain composure, keeping emotions in check and avoiding aggressive behavior, even in very difficult situation.
- Other assigned duties as required
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Computer Skills: Proficient with PC & experience with Microsoft Office
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong math skills and analytical skills
- Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Highly motivated, self-starter while also being a team player
- Strong phone contact handling skills and proven ability to listen effectively.
- Ability to take feedback and constructive criticism
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $45,000.00 - $57,000.00 per year
