Summary of Position
This position will be responsible for performing warehousing and inventory control functions. The individual will be responsible to receive, store and deliver parts and materials as required by Plant Operations. The position is also responsible for the cleanliness of warehouse spaces and warehouse yard areas. The position will require teamwork and close coordination with inside and outside customers to make sure a high level of customer satisfaction, while maintaining an accurate inventory of all parts and materials maintained on site. This position requires focus and attention to detail to ensure inventory counts and documentation is accurate.
Daily Activities may include : Pulling of Work Order material kits and / or individual parts, Measuring and Cutting raw materials to length and delivering to internal customers for production requirements. Housekeeping and inventory count validations.
This position reports to Warehouse / Purchasing manager.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Certification from a two-year college or technical school preferred
- One-year related experience and / or training a must
- Ability to lift heavy items up to 50 pounds required
- Ability to identify and measure material
- Ability to produce quality products consistently
- Ability to work safely and follow safety regulations
- Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form
- Must be reliable with a strong work ethic
EDUCATION :
High School Diploma or GED.
