Key Responsibilities
As the General Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of Well. Your responsibilities include:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations, including hours of operation, employee attendance, facility cleanliness, and client satisfaction.
- Managing bookkeeping activities to maintain accurate financial records with appropriate internal controls.
- Supervising and developing staff to foster a high-performing team.
- Handling payroll and general HR functions.
- Reconciling general ledger accounts and verifying data with external sources when available.
- Monitoring financial metrics in collaboration with ownership.
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
- Supporting year-end financial processes and serving as a liaison with a third-party CPA firm.
- Enhancing client experiences to drive revenue growth, control expenses, and improve processes.
- Continuously striving to improve the quality of services and client satisfaction.
What We’re Looking For
- A college degree
- Strong bookkeeping skills
- Experience in hospitality, fitness, health, or retail (preferred)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, MindBody, Shopify and QuickBooks (preferred)
- Ability to multitask in a dynamic environment
- Proven leadership and team management skills

- Schedule: Schedule: Monday to Friday, with remote weekend oversight as needed.
