We're Assisting Well-Rooted in Finding a Part-Time HR Administrator!

Are you passionate about creating positive work environments and supporting the growth of a mission-driven team? Well-Rooted, a holistic healthcare practice focused on pediatrics, functional medicine, and women’s health, is looking for a skilled HR Administrator to join their growing team.

Location: Crystal Lake/Hybrid (occasional visits to satellite offices in Oak Brook and Saint Charles)
Hours: Part-Time (25–35 hours per week)
Pay: Up to $27/hr

Your Role at Well-Rooted:

As the HR Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring Well-Rooted’s team is supported and thriving. This role is about more than just HR duties; it’s about contributing to a workplace culture that’s open, collaborative, and dedicated to holistic care. Here’s a look at what you’ll be doing:

• Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the hiring process from creating job postings to guiding new hires through a seamless onboarding experience.
• Employee Relations & Engagement: Be the go-to for team members, resolving concerns, fostering collaboration, and encouraging a positive, open environment.
• Compliance & Policies: Ensure policies are up-to-date and in line with healthcare regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, etc.), keeping the team informed and protected.
• Performance & Development: Manage performance reviews, offer constructive feedback, and provide development opportunities to support career growth.
• Benefits & Payroll: Oversee benefits programs and ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time. Experience with QuickBooks to input employee payroll is a plus!
• Training & Development: Design and implement training initiatives to help the team grow professionally, ensuring their success and alignment with Well-Rooted’s mission.

What We’re Looking For:

You are an emerging HR professional who is passionate about supporting both the people and business sides of an organization. Whether you have one year of experience or more, we’re looking for someone eager to contribute to a positive, growth-oriented work environment. Here’s what you bring to the table:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 1 year of HR experience, ideally in a healthcare or wellness-focused environment.
• Solid knowledge of HR laws and healthcare compliance (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA).
• Exceptional organizational skills and a knack for balancing multiple priorities with precision.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
• Experience with QuickBooks for payroll input is a plus.

Bonus Points For:

• HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
• Experience in a holistic or integrative healthcare setting.
