THE ROLE
Looking for an Assistant Brand Manager to join the Wella company and work on Clairol Professional & Wella colorcharm brands in North America Design/ Innovation. We are looking for someone that wants to join a fast-paced environment where accountability, ambition and discipline are paired with a desire to achieve results collaboratively.
You will be leading the development and execution of North American Innovation Master Plans that deliver strong brand building and profitable business growth through insight-led strategy, closely guided by the Global Marketing Director, whom you’ll report into.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead some of the Clairol Professional and Wella colorcharm initiatives in collaboration with multifunctional teams, by executing strategic vision and brand plan throughout the initiative process.
- Develop marketing toolkits to enable NA market execution.
- Work effectively cross-functionally with internal teams (e.g. Trade Marketing, Finance, initiative leaders, R&D, Education, Supply Chain, CMI) providing the vision and direction required to ensure the successful delivery of brand plans.
- Manage the day-to-day marketing budget for the brands, ensuring all budget trackers are maintained correctly.
- Represent the brand and present at key internal meetings, especially during innovation meetings.
- Track competitor activity and industry trends, sharing key learnings with internal teams.
- Be a champion for the brands, maintaining regular dialogue cross-functionally and across markets to drive the brand strategic priorities.
- Brand Asset (Content) & Model Usage Rights Management Process Owner.
- Support in the Artwork and Claims development process.
- Contribute to creation and evaluation of concepts and big ideas.
- Contribute to photoshoot management and toolbox development.
- Execute marketing vision, strategies, and tactics for Prosumer brands, Clairol Professional & Wella colorcharm.
- Contribute to management of communications with agency partners.
- Support team on market analysis and brand presentations as needed.
- Additional tasks, duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree (Business Administration, Marketing or similar discipline)
- 3 years’ experience in brand or product marketing innovation (Beauty or CPG industry preferred)
- Ability to work well under pressure, tight deadlines, managing multiple projects
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively within a collaborative, cross-functional environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient computer knowledge – MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
