Overview

Position Summary: 

The Director of Franchise Sales at WellBiz Brands will play a pivotal role in driving year-over-year unit growth in our franchise network, and will be responsible for identifying and securing new franchisees, managing relationships with existing franchise partners, franchise brokers/coaches/consultants, industry networks (IFA) and overseeing the strategic development of our franchise system. The Director of Franchise Sales will work with prospective franchisees to educate them on the franchise opportunity, screening them through financial qualifications and leading them to business ownership through deal execution.

The Director of Franchise Sales is responsible for driving new unit growth with new franchisees and incremental growth with existing franchisees across the WellBiz Brands beauty & wellness portfolio. With close to 900 locations across the USA, we are looking for a dynamic, energetic, and experienced Director of Franchise Sales to lead our expansion efforts in North and Central America, working alongside the sales team, including sales directors, resales department, franchise development marketing, and lead qualifier(s).

Compensation Range: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00/annually with opportunity for deal-based commissions. Incentives are in line with driving business results, with no cap on earning potential. Offers to select candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.

Position Responsibilities: 

  • Franchise Recruitment:
    • Meet quarterly & annual sales targets for new unit growth in the WellBiz Brands portfolio
    • Educate franchise candidates on the franchise opportunity in each phase of the development process
    • Collect, qualify, and audit qualification paperwork for candidates. 
    • Introduce lending and financing options early on in the qualification process
    • Manage and track the development pipeline. 
    • Make data-driven recommendations to optimize the franchise sales system.
    • Host franchise candidates in Denver, CO at Franchisee Confirmation Days
  • Franchise Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing franchisees to foster loyalty and create incremental growth opportunities with existing franchisees.
    • Participate in and facilitate WellBiz Brands Validation Program & Subject Matter Expert calls
  •  
  • Industry Relationship Management:
    • Attend select annual IFA events
    • Participate as a “thought leader” in the franchising space. Have a presence at industry educational events, as well as an online digital presence to establish and reinforce credibility as a salesperson and for the company
  • Strategic Projects & Other Duties:
    • Is capable of resolving escalated issues arising from sales or operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
    • Helps to develop policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.
    • Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Qualifications: 

  • 5-7 years of franchise sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Understanding of franchise legal regulations and guidelines
  • Understanding of business loan and financing processes and regulations
  • Experience using a CRM and sales pipeline management system
  • Ability to travel to relevant conferences and in-market visits (~40% travel required)
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and relationships over the phone and Zoom.
