 Primary Responsibilities Include:

• Supplier Identification & Evaluation – Research and assess suppliers based on capabilities, performance, cost, and compliance.
• Negotiation & Contract Management – Secure cost-effective contracts that align with company policies and industry regulations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration – Act as liaison between stakeholders and suppliers to align strategies, ensure material compliance, and resolve issues.
• Risk Management & Compliance – Identify and mitigate supply chain risks, including geopolitical and environmental factors. 
• Cost Optimization & Value Creation – Analyze spend data to uncover savings and implement sourcing strategies that improve efficiency. 
• Performance Monitoring & Improvement – Use reports, analytics, and dashboards to track supplier performance and drive corrective actions. 
• Market & Industry Analysis – Monitor trends, disruptions, and benchmarks to inform sourcing decisions and support leadership insight

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management that includes at least 3 years of:
  • global or multi-regional sourcing experience and
  • experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, within the oil & gas, manufacturing, industrial equipment, or energy sectors.
• Demonstrated career progression within supply chain, procurement, or sourcing roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and leadership.

Preferred Skills or Qualifications

• Masters’ degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Industry-specific certifications such as (preferred)
  • Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
  • Six Sigma Green
• Familiarity with API standards, ISO certifications, and regulatory requirements in oil & gas manufacturing.
• Proven experience negotiating contracts with global suppliers and understanding of tariffs, trade compliance, and logistics.
• Hands-on experience with ERP and procurement systems (SAP, Ariba, Oracle, Coupa, or similar).
• Experience in managing commodity price fluctuations, vendor reliability, and risk mitigation in a volatile market.
• Awareness of environmental and safety regulations impacting supplier selection within the oil & gas industry.
