- Installs all major components in a manual truck transmission.
- Inspects Measure clutches, gears, cast iron and truck parts for the manual unit.
- Handles (lifting, carrying, etc.) parts, gears, cast, completed assemblies (counter shaft / main shaft) over 5 lbs.
- Examines / Inspects threads, pumps, gearing, paint jobs, and other sub-components, etc.
- Uses variety of tools ranging from hand tools to impacts.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must stand for 8 hours per day.
- Frequent walking.
- Hearing protection may be required in some areas.
- The ability to see fine details may be required during performance of some functions.
- Fine motor skills are required (finger / hand manipulation).
- May need to lift weight greater than 50 lbs. at times.
