The Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences program at Wellesley College is seeking a part-time, benefits-eligible, non-tenure-track visiting lecturer for a one-year position to teach four courses in introductory linguistics, phonology, and historical linguistics. Our Cognitive and Linguistic Sciences program is interdisciplinary, with courses in linguistics, psychology, philosophy, and computer science. We seek a candidate whose expertise is in linguistics, with a strong interest in teaching at the undergraduate level. Qualifications for the position include a Ph.D. in linguistics, in hand or near completion, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching.
