Job Description:
">The Wellington Club is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Supervised Care Attendant. This role involves providing top-notch care and entertainment for children aged 2-10 in our Kids Club, also known as Tuskers.
">Main Responsibilities:
">- Supervise and participate in recreational activities for children, including games, toy play, crafts, and make-believe scenarios ">
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children by providing close supervision during all activities ">
- Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for participants in Tuskers ">
- Plan engaging activities and events for indoor and outdoor spaces, including the pool area ">
- Collaborate with other departments, such as food and beverage, housekeeping, and youth coordination ">
- Assist children with homework and promote academic growth ">
- Participate in training sessions, designated meetings, staff meetings, and special events ">
- Provide support to the Youth Coordinator or other counselors as needed ">
- Maintain a positive attitude towards colleagues, other departments, and club members ">
- Keep the room tidy and organized, disinfecting frequently and cleaning before and after programs ">
- Proactively address any issues or concerns related to Tuskers and the Wellington Club ">
- Make recommendations to the Youth Director for improving equipment, supplies, facilities, and program needs ">
- Set up and move furniture as required ">
- Show flexibility and adaptability in new situations ">
- Be available and flexible for holidays, weekends, nights, and camp weeks/summer months ">
- Maintain uniforms to a high standard (name tag, black closed shoes, Tuskers shirt, black sweater) ">
- Provide safety support inside the pool and during water activities ">
