Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports in compliance with applicable regulations.

- Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to guide financial planning.
- Conduct financial audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Manage payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate payment to employees.
- Collaborate with public accounting firms for external audits and reviews.
- Provide technical accounting support for complex transactions and reporting issues.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Support the finance team in various projects related to financial services.
Experience
- Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, with a strong understanding of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) regulations being a plus.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes and financial forecasting techniques.
- Experience in public accounting or technical accounting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial auditing practices and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
